No disrespect, but for real, though Kendrick Perkins retired, a few years back. He used to be a thorn in LeBron James’ side, now it looks like he’ll be his teammate. Kendrick Perkins was the Celtics’ starting center during the KG/Pierce/Allen/Rondo era.
That Boston Celtics team proved to be the one able to stop LeBron and sent him to Miami. For reasons they still can’t explain, the Celtics traded him, midseason, to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was on the team that lost to LeBron’s Heat, giving him his first title.
According to his Wikipedia, Kendrick Perkins actually played for the Cavs, in 2015. From there, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans, before sitting this past season out. Now, he shows up in the Cavs’ workout pics from Richard Jefferson’s Snapchat, so who knows what that’s about.
