Cardi B emerges as the most-popular artist in music in the new streaming era, as hip hop has become music’s most-streamed genre

When Cardi B said “you can’t f*ck with me, if you wanted to,” a lot of people wrote it off as bravado. Definitely, “Bodak Yellow” was a club banger, but a lot of people never thought it would top major charts. But, when it comes to Cardi B, they always counted her out.

If anyone is to be honest and look back on it, Cardi B always had the most-energetic fans. Long before the world knew her music, fans had her trending during “Love & Hip Hop,” with her lyrics. The journey and grind has been slow, but worth it.

Cardi B has risen to the top of the rap game, just when hip hop has risen to the top of the music genres. With hip hop recently becoming music’s most-streamed genre, Cardi B is hip hop’s most-streamed artist. This has effectively made Cardi B the number one artist in music, at the moment, major props to her.
