HHV Exclusive: Nathan Davis talks “Detroit” movie and social injustices in 2017

By Alyssa Debonair

Five years ago, Nathan Davis was a young kid, who moved to LA with his mother to pursue his dream of acting. Within a year, he was cast on the Nickelodeon hit series, “Chase Champions,” as Diego. Soon, this led to other major roles, for him.

Over the past five years, Nathan Davis has had other appearances on such shows as “Glee,” “The Soul Man,” and other shows. This led to him being cast for, arguably, the biggest role of his career. One of the biggest films of the summer was Detroit, starring Algee Smith.

Nathan Davis was present at the True To The Game screening. He would speak with @MJThatMediaGurl for Hip-HopVibe.com. The two talked about the issues the Detroit movie tackled and how it reflects what is going on, socially, in the present day.
