Currently, Lil Uzi Vert is one of the brightest new stars in the game. He really came into his own, flashing his potential, during the VMAs, last weekend. All of this capped his run, promoting Luv Is Rage 2, his new album.
Soon after Lil Uzi Vert delivered his album, projections had him pegged to go number one. Predictions had Uzi selling between 120,000 and 130,000 within that week. These predictions held up and Lil Uzi Vert would take the number one spot.
Competition was stiff for Lil Uzi Vert, as XXXTentacion came in at number two with 17. Also on the chart was Fifth Harmony with their self-titled album. Then, Kendrick Lamar, with Damn., also continued his presence in the top five on the charts.
