Ace Hood talks trusting the process, learning from past record deals, message to men of color, and biggest lessons learned in music industry on #SwayInTheMorning [VIDEO]

Last week saw Ace Hood return to the game with his first major project without the We The Best stamp on it. A year ago, DJ Khaled went on “The Breakfast Club” and Charlamagne asked him about Ace Hood. In typical Khaled fashion, he said he’s doing him and wishes him well.

Ace Hood, in turn, took to Twitter and essentially accused Khaled of lying. Already, an April Fools’ day prank story said Ace Hood left Khaled, due to not being able to handle his arrogant attitude. But, in actuality, he really did leave We The Best Music Group.

Recently, Ace Hood did his media rounds for Trust The Process, his latest mixtape. Among the places he visited was Shade 45, where he and Sway would sit down. The two discussed his “process,” learning from past record deals, messages to men of color, and lessons the music industry taught him.
