Twenty-three years ago, Wood Harris earned his stripes as an actor and hip hop figure. Back then, he debuted with Above the Rim, where he played opposite Tupac Shakur. Later, he became known for his role in the Paid In Full movie.
Wood Harris has gained a cult following for his role on “The Wire” and is currently experiencing a resurgence. Now, Wood Harris is introduced to a whole new audience. He plays on VH1’s “The Breaks” and was on the popular BET miniseries, “The New Edition Story.”
Hip-HopVibe.com was present on the Black Girls Rock red carpet. While there, we caught up with Wood Harris for a brief interview. He spoke with @MJThatMediaGurl, where he spoke on influential women in his life, and played trivia about R&B stars, including R. Kelly, Chris Brown, and Bryson Tiller.
