Until a couple of years ago, it was unheard of for an actor or actress to have prominent roles in more than one series. But, the flexible taping schedules and short seasons have changed that. This has allowed for Anika Noni Rose to cement herself as a star.
After playing minor roles in several films and television shows, Rose began playing on “Power” in season three. She played the role of Jukebox, the cousin of Kanan (50 Cent). They planned revenge on Ghost (Omari Hardwick) via his son, Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.)
Due to Jukebox’s sexuality, Anika Noni Rose became a bit of a sex symbol. Then, when “The Quad” premiered, where Rose plays a married woman having an affair, this only intensified, so people, especially males, were excited when this nude photo of Rose surfaced on Instagram. Despite the side profile, this was not Rose, instead it is a popular Instagram model, @lastarya, to which Rose said on her Instagram, a few days ago.
