Believe it or not, NBA Live used to be a much more popular brand than the NBA 2K series. However, ten years ago, NBA 2K made some changes that put them ahead for a long time. A lot changed within the whole NBA Live brand, including a brief run as NBA Elite.
Back to their roots, NBA Live has put itself in prime position to make a comeback, starting with NBA Live 18. Already, they have won out with fans, due to them including the WNBA. This is a first, with video games, for the WNBA to be featured.
Now, the soundtrack for NBA Live 18 is out and it features a ton of dope music. The soundtrack is loaded with music from many of the hottest newer names in the industry. Features come from Ayo & Teo, PnB Rock, Dave East, Kendrick Lamar, Playboi Carti, Russ, Rick Ross, Lil Uzi Vert, KYLE, and more.
