On November 8, #NewRules took over in politics and Maxine Waters, immediately, became the most-vocal critic. Long before the current political controversies, Maxine Waters was vocal. Many video clips of her going off about the current governmental control went viral.
Maxine Waters actually talked to Hip-HopVibe.com last month and she said she felt an impeachment was on the horizon. At the time, the current information was not available. But, she said there were things going on, behind the scenes, that would soon be revealed.
Yesterday, BET announced they would have even more than the usual at this year’s Black Girls Rock celebration. Already, they have Taraji P. Henson from “Empire” and Hidden Figures hosting. Now, they have also revealed Maxine Waters will be honored for all of her contributions.
