John Singleton introduces Damson Idris, talks #SnowfallFX and the Tupac movie on #SwayInTheMorning [VIDEO]

A pioneer in the hip hop film scene is John Singleton, the visionary behind Boyz N The Hood. That film made Ice Cube into a movie star, inspiring his long career in film acting. Singleton is also the man who cast Tyrese in his first acting role.

Because of this history, John Singleton was tapped to be the director for the Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me. But, Singleton clashed with fellow directors, LT Hutton and Benny Boom, leading to him leaving the project. Unfortunately, the terms were not the best in the world.

John Singleton moved on with “Snowfall,” FX’s newest series. He, along with the show’s star, Damson Idris, stopped by Shade 45, linking up with Sway for “Sway In The Morning.” The interview saw John Singleton speaking on the new series and the Tupac movie.
