Twitter is buzzing right now and it’s true, this is no speculation. Two hours before NBA free agency starts, the Indiana Pacers decided they would not be the odd man out. They made a trade, sending Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Paul George hinted he might remain with the Pacers and then said he intended to leave in free agency. This left the Pacers without anything if they didn’t make a move. There were a lot of theories of the Celtics making a move for George, but the Pacers made their move.
The West is looking stacked, right now, as Chris Paul and James Harden are a duo for the Rockets. Then, the Warriors are still the top dogs, but now the Thunder are a legitimate rival, once again. Paul George has Twitter trending about this deal, plus him and Russell Westbrook playing together.
