Don’t let any of the drama take away from how special the BET Awards were, last night. Those performances by Xscape and New Edition helped make the night a classic. Then, all the ladies who attended the show had nothing but love for each other.
Remy Ma had an amazing year, last year, cementing her comeback, two years after her prison release. In large part, “Love & Hip Hop” helped her, as it did Cardi B, who was her cast-mate these past two years. Both ladies were up for Best Female Hip Hop Artist.
Though a lot of fans felt Cardi B deserved to win over Remy Ma. But, that was the last thing on Cardi B’s mind. She was there, all for the moment, and shouted Remy out for bringing her out at Summer Jam, and congratulating her on her BET win.
