Last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers came into Oakland focused on putting Game 1 behind them. They definitely played much better, but just like LeBron said, it didn’t matter, they still got blown out. Now, just like last year, Cleveland is going home down 0-2.
If history holds, the Cavaliers will win Game 3, which they have done in every Finals matchup with the Golden State Warriors. The only difference was, in 2015, it gave them a 2-1 lead. This year, a Game 3 win means survival, as it did last year.
Kyrie Irving played a decent game, but he was overshadowed by the strong performances of Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and LeBron James. When the media caught up with him, Kyrie Irving was much friendlier than LeBron. He said the key to Cleveland’s loss was Klay Thompson.
