In the four years since the Wednesday Throwback started, some artists may have been featured twice with the same record. That type of thing tends to happen. Then, there may be some who may have never gotten a feature.
The lack of Ice-T on the site was recently brought up, given our longtime love of the West Coast, particularly California. Now, that has been corrected. A few weeks ago, an Ice-T video binge brought up the glaring lack of his work on the site.
So, revisiting 1988, this week’s Wednesday Throwback gives the spotlight to the pioneer of Gangsta rap and West Coast hip hop. Recent movies have given Eazy-E much-deserved shine. But, Ice-T was doing the same thing, all on his own, so his “High Rollers” single taken from his album, Power, is our spotlight track, this week.
