Let’s be honest, the Golden State Warriors are stinking it up on their home floor. Maybe it’s that resting they had, almost two weeks off. Or, it could just be that the San Antonio Spurs are better, especially with them having Kawhi Leonard back.
All that being said, though, this Warriors/Spurs rivalry was becoming the biggest non-rivalry in the NBA. The last time they played each other in the playoffs, Golden State was not a contender. But, the Spurs have come up short, each time, since the Warriors’ rise.
Finally facing off as equals, the Spurs still have the Warriors looking like amateurs. Just like they did on opening not, the Spurs have taken Klay Thompson out of his game and Draymond Green… the picture says it all. But, fans are banking on Kawhi and Aldridge to do it to them in 4, now.
