Irv Gotti announces the relaunch of Murder Inc. Records and says he has big announcements coming soon [PHOTO]

In the 1990s, Irv Gotti made himself into a force in the game, starting out as DJ Irv, working with Jay Z. He produced a few of the songs on the classic Reasonable Doubt and then linked with Def Jam. From then on, he was officially Irv Gotti and Murder Inc. took over the game.

Irv Gotti was instrumental in helping Ruff Ryders and Roc-A-Fella take off, with DMX and Jay Z becoming stars. Then, he had his own run with his own Murder Inc. label, via Ja Rule and Ashanti. But, the past fifteen years have seen Irv and company essentially out of the game.

Briefly, it looked like they would re-emerge, a decade ago, but it wasn’t to be. However, Irv Gotti believes he has the momentum, with his new series, “Tales,” premiering next month on BET, on June 27. Along with this, he revealed Murder Inc. Records is officially relaunching and that he’ll have more announcements soon.
