Since its inception, BET has had an epic history, but the network has made sure to live up to its tagline. They do “Got You,” in terms of the programming they provide. This year, BET really earned tons of critical acclaim with The New Edition Story, creating new interest in TV films.
BET already has “Being Mary Jane” in its stable of original programs and hit it out of the park with “The Quad.” Along with that, “Rebel” is a standout series, starring Method Man. As if they couldn’t top that, BET proved they could.
“Hit The Floor” and “The Breaks,” also starring Method Man, in addition to Mack Wilds, are coming over. Yesterday, Irv Gotti revealed his series, “Tales,” was coming to BET, while rival, 50 Cent has “50 Cent Central” launching on the channel. There is also the late night show, “The Rundown,” produced by Chris Rock, and hosted by Robin Thede.
