Courtesy of such projects as BET’s The New Edition Story and the efforts from Diddy with the Bad Boy tour, there is a new interest in 1990s music. Of course, there is no 90s without Swizz Beatz and his crew, Ruff Ryders. Among the producers out was Swizz Beatz.

The production of Swizz Beatz made DMX into a household name, after he had been rapping for years. Later, he did it again when he helped Eve craft her sound. Then, many of Jay Z’s breakthrough hits in the 1990s were also produced by Swizz.

Recently, Swizz Beatz stopped by “Drink Champs,” talking with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN in Miami. During the interview, Swizz Beatz talked about how special of a person DMX is and how they are making it all happen, including a deal with Epic Records. He also told many other stories, including Nas, Jadakiss, T.I., Beanie Sigel, Cassidy, and many others.
