A few years ago, Tinashe set the summer on fire with “2 On,” her hit single featuring ScHoolboy Q. The following years have seen both artists unable to match the same level of commercial success. But, Tinashe definitely got herself back in the spotlight, tonight.
“Empire” had Tinashe in a cameo role, where she had been recording with Jamal (Jussie Smollett). It wasn’t long before she caught Hakeem’s (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) eye. On top of all that, Tinashe had to contend with fellow pop star, Tori Ash (Rumer Willis).
Fans were all over themselves when they saw Tinashe make her cameo on “Empire.” The show, from day one, has always had a list of the biggest of big names appearing as themselves, or in guest roles. When it comes to Tinashe, however, fans want more of her on the show.
