When it comes to being prominent in music, it is tough to maintain longevity, as an artist. Because of this, and for many other reasons, a lot of artists jump into the film industry. While it was done before, Ice Cube redefined the game, creating a new sub-culture in hip hop film.
Xzibit is another West Coast artist who found a home as an actor and television personality. Since doing “Pimp My Ride,” Xzibit has made his name as television personality and an actor. This season, Xzibit has a key role on “Empire,” playing the role of Shine.
Recently, MJ That Media Gurl attended the Grow House red carpet, where she spoke to the celebrities for Hip-HopVibe.com. One of the heavy hitters on the carpet was Xzibit, who stopped for a brief interview. He discussed the Grow House movie and how it can never be compared to the Friday franchise, along with DJ Pooh expanding his vision.
