Over the course of her career, Janet Jackson managed to make herself into a household name, outside of her family name. Rising to fame, first, as an actress helped Janet build her own name. However, she could not escape the mystique of the Jackson name.
Despite their lives being open books for the better part of five decades, there is always speculation about the clan. Since Janet Jackson’s 2015 return, there have been rumors of her having a child. These rumors heightened when James DeBarge confirmed them.
On “Growing Up Hip Hop,” Kristinia DeBarge even got in on the rumors of having a sister, with a whole episode dedicated to her. This “secret daughter,” however, has maintained a low profile, until finally speaking out. According to reports, she has taken a DNA test, which has proven she is related to the DeBarge family.
