#DifferentWorld: Jemele Hill and Michael Smith give “A Different World” new life, on Twitter, as SportsCenter uses their intro for tonight’s show, with “A Different World” cast members [VIDEO]

Heck, most people don’t even think about “A Different World,” outside of the TV One reruns. But, ESPN ended up bringing the show back to life and it was done well. Tonight’s “SportsCenter” intro was much different than previous ones.

It began with the most-unique intro in sitcom history, “A Different World.” There was Jemele Hill and Michael Smith playing roles in the intro. Just when people thought it was a full remake, Dawnn Lewis showed up in her scene, along with Sinbad.

Then, Darryl M. Bell and Glynn Turman showed up, and it became clear that hip hop definitely got the green light on this one. Over an hour after it aired, Twitter is still on it. They have “A Different World” trending on Twitter for, probably, the first time ever.
