Open mouth, insert foot for Diddy, well not exactly. One of the first hip hop moguls to flaunt his wealth, Diddy is the reason Forbes has a hip hop list. It’s only fitting that he’s topped it 90% of the time since it began, with only Jay Z and Dr. Dre topping him.
Recently, Diddy has begun sharing some motivational videos for all of those trying to get it. When a person is operating outside of what’s perceived to be normal, they receive flack. It’s hard to get support, but some people still make it happen, like Diddy, and many others.
Hoping to use his success to motivate the next generation, Diddy put out a motivational video. In the middle of this video, Diddy says they didn’t want him to be a waiter, so he decided to be a billionaire. That line led to many blogs jumping the gun and writing him in as hip hop’s first billionaire, prompting Diddy to speak out and set the record straight.
