Popular Pittsburgh rapper, Owey, may be an artist to look out for in 2017, but he’s been doing his thing for a long time. Earlier in his career, he was working with Wiz Khalifa, among others. For over a decade, he has put out some relatively popular projects.
However, Owey has put in work since the end of 2015 that has put him in a much bigger position. The music he’s dropped since then just has bubbled under the radar. If there was ever a time for Owey to break through, that time is now.
Recently, the rising artist returned with his “Keep It Real” music video, which premiered on Hip-HopVibe.com. With that, plus his momentum over the past year, he was always a Rookie Watch artist on the radar. As the summer rapidly approaches, Owey is another one of those artists to look out for.
