Most people weren’t familiar with Ralo until the end of 2015. Since that time, Ralo has made good work out of his friendship with Birdman, doing tons of records with Cash Money Records. Many people believed he was signed with Rich Gang/Cash Money.

Ralo, however, surprised many when he signed with Gucci Mane. Now, he is a member of 1017, which Gucci now calls Eskimo, where Ralo will be the focal point. Already, he has a ton of support from the mixtape scene that he will bring to this new label.

Recently, Ralo stopped by Durrty Boyz, where he would address the new label situation. During the interview, Ralo explained he never signed with Cash Money, due to Birdman’s situation with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. Revealing he had major label offers, Ralo said he chose Gucci’s label in hopes of building something like what Jay Z has going on.
