Over the course of Valentine’s Day history, there have always been those people who are single. Long before social media, in social settings, single people were singled out for being single. Social media has made things that much worse for the single people.
Ultimately, it is good to be loved and Valentine’s Day is as good of a time as any to celebrate that love. But, not everyone is going to have romance going on. Still, there is something that can be done for the single.
Finally, the singles have united to come up with something to celebrate being single. Their remedy is #SinglesAwarenessDay, which not only celebrates singleness, it also shows people how to avoid the mushiness of Valentine’s Day. These series of tweets and memes are hilarious.
