In 2015, Big Sean had a big year that included a Kanye West return to the game. Along with this, Big Sean had a big album release that included yet another anthem. Later that year, how the music industry released albums changed.
For decades, albums released every Tuesday, but with so many mixtapes and streaming services, things changed. The change was accelerated when Jay Z, Big Sean’s manager, bought TIDAL. Instantly, an Apple competitor, Apple Music, launched.
Now, albums drop on Friday, but leaks still occur, which is a big reason why Jay Z was so passionate and vocal about TIDAL. Last week, however, there were people on Reddit claiming to have leaked Migos’ C U L T U R E. This week, the same is being said about Big Sean’s I Decided.
