Just watching “Power” season three and then “The Quad’s” series premiere proves how powerful Anika Noni Rose is. The actress played Jukebox on “Power,” last season. But, when “The Quad” is on BET, she is Dr. Fletcher, who is nothing like Jukebox.
Tonight, “The Quad” series premiere took place, after several intense trailers premiered during The New Edition Story. In the premiere, Dr. Eva Fletcher (Rose) is facing tough opposition. As the president of the school Cecil (Ruben Santiago-Hudson) is causing trouble for her.
In the series premiere, after her daughter, Sydney (Jazz Raycole) had her near death experience, a major Dr. Fletcher revelation was realized. It turns out, the character is going through a rough patch in her marriage, due to her cheating with a grad student. A lot of people love the small sample size of “The Quad” and they love the Fletchers.
