A running joke among fans on social media about “Star” is that the group has no name. The premise of the show is Star (Jude DeMorest) locating her sister, Simone (Brittany O’Grady), and teaming her up with Alex (Ryan Destiny) to pursue music. They clash very often.
On tonight’s episode, Jahil (Benjamin Bratt), under pressure from Hunter’s (Chad J. Buchanan) mom, removed Star from the lead. In her place was Alex. During the performance, Star ended up stealing the spotlight, causing another fight.
Before Star’s scene-stealing performance, fans learned something big about the girls. With Porsha Williams making a cameo, she introduced the girls before their performance, revealing Big Trouble to be their name. The fans are glad the girls have a name, but, really, Big Trouble?
