During the Murder Inc. days, Ashanti was always viewed as the cute younger sister to Ja Rule’s older brother. But, as she got older, she began looking increasingly thicker. Many took notice when she did the music video with Shyne for “Jimmy Choo.”
Ashanti saw her music viability dwindle towards the end of the run of the Murder Inc. label. Since then, Ashanti has kept herself relevant through social media. Very few days go by without Ashanti setting up some form of thirst trap, or another.
The funniest thing about this one is that Ashanti did not even do this, but they are talking about her. A photo has gone viral of a young woman on the beach, holding a baby, and she’s thick. At first glance, she looks like Ashanti, but clearly, they are two different people and this is NOT Ashanti, but it’s funny.
