Music migrating to the internet has helped a lot of artists gain stardom that likely would not have, otherwise. Among the names who come to mind include Drake, along with others. But, there are still many of other artists who aren’t getting their shot.
Blackbear is one of the biggest artists, online, and he is doing it all independently. Without major label backing, Blackbear is verified on all social media, has popular music on SoundCloud, and performs in front of large crowds. But, he isn’t a household name, but feels he should be.
Ultimately, Blackbear has decided to use his most-valuable asset to get himself over the hump. What Blackbear wants is to have his music all over the radio. To do this, he enlisted his fans to make #playblackbearontheradio a trending topic and it has made the number one trending Twitter topic.
