Even though Yo Gotti didn’t have breakout mainstream success until 2013, he’s been around for almost two decades. Doing everything independently, Yo Gotti always had potential. The past few years have seen him maximize it.
Back in 2013, Yo Gotti signed a partnership deal with Epic Records, where he expanded his CMG label. The label has a promising roster of talent. Early this year, DJ Khaled signed a similar deal and also revealed he signed with Roc Nation, making Jay Z his manager.
Yo Gotti has always had a good relationship with DJ Khaled and was a part of Beyonce’s “On The Run” tour with him. This allowed him the chance to meet Jay Z, who clearly was impressed with his hustle. This afternoon, Yo Gotti has announced that he is the newest person to join Roc Nation’s management roster.
