Watching Taraji P. Henson is like watching a family member or a close friend with how she plays her roles. The world knows her for “Empire,” being Cookie Lyon, but she was Jody’s girl on Baby Boy long before. A unique person, Henson’s style helped put FOX back on the map.
Until last week, “Empire” remained television’s most-watched show for two and a half seasons. A bulk of those episodes were the most-watched in television history. Now, Taraji has truly made it, as she will appear on the flagship show of FOX, “The Simpsons.”
Taraji P. Henson will be a part of “The Simpsons” history, as she will be a part of their first-ever one hour episode. This continues “The Simpsons” tradition of making history. Showrunner, Al Jean, said his only hope was for this to not be the last thing people see before the inauguration.
