Harden and Westbrook’s post-game hug wins over social media, as friendship shines through after epic battle during #HOUvsOKC game

During the early days of the Oklahoma City Thunder, they went from being one of the NBA’s worst teams to the best. Like every season except for this one, Kevin Durant was the leader of the team. But, he had a strong supporting cast led by Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

In 2012, after an impressive NBA Finals run, James Harden was traded to the Houston Rockets. Of course, Kevin Durant left the Thunder for the Golden State Warriors, this offseason. Now, each player has their own team.

Tonight, Russell Westbrook and James Harden put on a memorable show. They played right down to the wire, but Russell Westbrook airballed the game-winner. But, fans enjoyed the embrace from the former OKC Thunder duo at the end of the game.
