When Dipset took over the game, during the 2002-2007 period, the favorite rapper was Juelz Santana. Of course, Cam’ron put them on the map and Jim Jones had the biggest hit, but Juelz had a run. He was so popular that Jay Z kept him on Def Jam in the middle of the beef.
Juelz Santana had a promising career and he and Lil Wayne had a joint album. In the end, both the joint album and Juelz Santana’s solo album never came to be. The past few years saw him flirt with it, but Juelz is now a “Love & Hip Hop” cast member.
Tonight saw “Love & Hip Hop” focus in on Juelz Santana and Kimbella in their love life. Here, Kimbella snapped on Juelz for his history of cheating and their ups and downs. When Juelz told her he was supposed to be on top right now and that he’s a changed man, the fans had enough and began with the jokes.
