Early this year, YG retook the streets with his “FDT” anthem. By hearing the song, it is clear that YG wasn’t voting for Donald Trump, staying in his hotels, or gambling in his casinos. Many political experts feel such songs as YG’s “FDT” gave Trump the momentum he needed to win.
As everyone knows, Donald Trump won in surprising fashion over the heavily-favored Hillary Clinton. Since his controversial election, Trump has faced much backlash. All over the country, people have taken to the streets with #NotMyPresident protests.
Add YG to the list of Californians who are disappointed with the way things turned out. During his Red Friday concert, YG wasn’t just focused on expressing hatred for Def Jam. There was another New York City business figure he wanted to insult in the next president, having a Trump pinata, which he and his crew beat the stuffing out of.
