Although many don’t realize it, O.T. Genasis has been around for much longer than they think. Five years ago, he rose to prominence without having O.T. in front of his name. During this period, he was a part of the revamped G-Unit movement with the late Shawty Lo and Kidd Kidd.
O.T. Genasis resurfaced in 2014 and began releasing a series of successful mixtape tracks. Late in 2014, Genasis broke through with his single, “Coco,” which put him on the map. Close to a year went by with no real hits, but “Cut It” gained success.
With the year of 2016 coming to an end, O.T. Genasis revealed some major news. The Long Beach rapper revealed “Cut It” is now his most-successful single. Matching what “Coco” did, Genasis said “Cut It” is now platinum, which is great news for him.
