Jay Z faces pregnancy discrimination lawsuit via TIDAL after former employee sues company for firing her after she requested a breast-pumping room

Just when the news about Jay Z’s TIDAL began to die down, the streaming service is back in the headlines. There were many struggles that made it seem as if TIDAL was going under. Behind the scenes, however, Jay Z laughed it off as growth was going well.

 

TIDAL has enjoyed a strong 2016 that saw successful streaming events/albums from Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys. In total, these events grossed close to $1 billion. Definitely a good year to be in the company of Jay Z.

One former employee is not happy, however, as she alleges that TIDAL treated her harshly after she gave birth. After she spoke to TIDAL about giving her a breast-pumping room, she, Lisette Paulson, claimed she was fired. Now, she is filing a lawsuit against TIDAL, following pushback from company COO, Desiree Perez.
