Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj saw her partnership with T-Mobile take over television. Over the course of 2016, Nicki Minaj has done countless commercials with them. Her “Side To Side” collaborator, Ariana Grande also appears in the most-recent commercial.
But, anyone watching the commercials sees the rivalry each phone provider has with Verizon. There are hilarious Jamie Foxx commercials that put down each network. Then, Sprint has the man from the commercials that made Verizon a household name.
This afternoon, Verizon saw one of their phones in a Nicki Minaj photo, so they tweeted T-Mobile. They quoted Nicki Minaj’s now-infamous line aimed at Miley Cyrus in their caption. But, Nicki quickly shut this down, telling Verizon that it was her cameraman’s phone.
