Throughout his career, August Alsina has defied the odds. The early part of his career was defined by his associations with Chris Brown and also Trey Songz. There was a bit of complicated history between he and the aforementioned Trey Songz.
August Alsina, in recent years, has found more support and alliance from DJ Khaled. As the Miami hip hop figure has watched his career reach new heights, Khaled has brought August Alsina along for the ride. His single, “Do You Mind,” is the hottest song on radio, hands down.
The record made it all the way to the American Music Awards, which is where August Alsina made headlines. Yes, the ladies were digging him and his typical August Alsina vibes. But, his performance was panned and August agrees with them, blaming the AMAs, but that he thanks them for the opportunity.
