Very few would have predicted “The Simpsons” to still be airing as long as it has. Once, “The Simpsons” were considered some type of phenomenon. Some fans even felt the show outlasted its best seasons, which were in the 1990s.

Regardless of what critics say, “The Simpsons” are a guaranteed 7.2 million viewers every Sunday night. While some stories have become boring and repetitive, “The Simpsons” have reinvented. Their more recent episodes are proof of this.

“The Simpsons” have done well enough to basically launch the FXX network, owned by FOX. It looks like there will be more episodes to add to their “Every Simpsons Ever” nightly series, except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. News just broke of the show being renewed for season 29 and season 30.
