When Jeezy made his 2005 breakthrough, he showed the completion of what T.I. introduced, two years prior. Def Jam took a chance on him and he made good on their investment. As one of Jay Z’s earliest signings, along with Rihanna, Rick Ross, and Ne-Yo, Jeezy shined.

Among his best-known singles were “Put On” with Kanye West and his debut, “Go Crazy,” with Jay Z. These were the main guys at Def Jam and remain his close friends. Last week, Kanye West made it seem as if he and Jay Z are no longer friends with each other.

Jeezy stopped by “The Real,” where he would be asked about the situation with Kanye West and Jay Z. Quickly, Jeezy dismissed the situation, laughing it off. His explanation is that those two are as close as brothers and brothers fight.
