It’s been an unusual day in social media, as Twitter was down for most of the day. A DDoS attack took aim at Twitter, Amazon, and Netflix, among other popular websites. As inconvenient as it is, that is the way of the internet.
However, it was odd to see Twitter not being active, as it is one of the internet’s most-active places. But, anyone who knows anything about social media knew it wasn’t permanent. Still, it is very frustrating to be down for one second, let alone several hours.
So, for those who left Twitter alone for the day, they are now able to make their return. Maybe Twitter was never down for some, but most were impacted. But, as of posting time, Twitter is back available.
