Unfortunately, some people will never understand why Charlotte is in ruin. Then, also, some people will never understand why it isn’t okay to destroy their own homes out of frustration. Regardless, Charlotte is now declared a State of Emergency.
It all began with the murder of Keith Lamont Scott, who was simply waiting on his son to get off the bus. By the time the young man got off the bus, his father was dead. How the situation was handled has led to the riots going on, now.
People from all sides are talking, but it looks like there is no solution on the horizon. Community leader, Willie Ratchford, spoke and he called for peace. Meanwhile, people are on Twitter, each defending their cause, but those who know are tremendously upset with what has transpired.
