Just when “Empire” was getting criticized for being dull and boring, they switched it up. Throughout the history of the show, “Empire” has made some big moves. But, during the end of last season’s winter finale, they had a surprise when Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) was pushed.
Rhonda fell down the stairs, but she was alive, leaving the cast as is. In the season finale, Anika (Grace Gealey) was confirmed to be the one who pushed her down the stairs, killing her child. The two fought over it and the season finale proved Rhonda was the one who died.
Empire is in flux and the fans are shocked with what the show did. A lot of fans are surprised by the twist, but disappointed that Andre (Trai Byers) lost Rhonda. Twitter is still going in off that one.
