This week is noted for being the week when Tupac died, exactly twenty years ago. Time has flown and now the Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, is almost here. The movie has been discussed for almost ten years and is finally on the way.
Casting could not have done a better job, with Demetrius Shipp, Jr. looking just like Tupac did before he died. Anyone who has watched the trailers can also attest to him being the perfect fit, acting-wise. The extended trailer for the movie premiered on Tuesday.
With Tuesday being the actual anniversary of Tupac’s death, J Cruz actually had Demetrius Shipp, Jr. sit down with him at Power 106. In the interview, Shipp spoke on playing Tupac in the movie. They enjoyed a very upbeat conversation about the movie and Tupac’s influence.
