Violence is never the answer, but it’s ridiculous when an innocent person dies. Just this month, several celebrities have lost close people to them, due to violence. Dwyane Wade lost his first cousin in Chicago, to a stray bullet, then, just yesterday, T-Pain lost his niece.
Janelle Monae is now the latest celebrity to deal with the loss of a loved one. Her first cousin, Natasha Hays, is the latest victim and she is the mother of three, just as Dwyane Wade’s cousin was. Now, both are no longer here for their families.
Recently, Janelle Monae took to Twitter to reveal her cousin was a victim of gun violence. But, Janelle Monae is not letting her death be in vain. She already has the #SayHerName hashtag going for her cousin, Natasha Hays. STOP THE VIOLENCE.
