In 2015, Drake ended up overcoming all of the “soft” jokes he faced throughout his career. Following the release of Take Care, Drake dealt with disses from Pusha T and Common. This led to the YMCMB vs. G.O.O.D. Music beef.
But, Drake solidified his position as a tough out in the game through battling Chris Brown and Tyga, and later Meek Mill. But, much of his criticism came to how he panted for Rihanna. Tonight, at the VMAs, Drake reminded everyone of why he was clowned so often.
When presenting Rihanna with her Vanguard Award, Drake literally professed his love for her. As she accepted her award, Drake kissed Rihanna and it looks like he caught her lips. Afterward, Rihanna can be seen saying “that wasn’t funny” and Twitter is currently going in on “Aubrey.”
