Over the course of his career, Drake has continued to rise. He has gone through every up and down deemed necessary for rap stardom. After having issues with Chris Brown and Tyga, he found a bonafide hip hop enemy in Meek Mill.
Because of the presence of both Meek Mill and Diddy at tonight’s VMAs, many figured Drake wouldn’t show. This began to look like a fact when his first award was accepted by Diddy. In fact, Twitter started going in on Drake with that video from 2014 of Diddy shoving him.
However, Drake is present for the VMAs, but he just happens to be running late. With the success of the Toronto Raptors and the team getting ready for the next season, Drake could have been there. But, he was spotted finally showing up to the VMAs, backstage.
