The past few years have seen the most unimaginable things happen here on US soil. Terrorist attacks from other countries were horrible, but what Americans have done to each other are much worse. Right now, there are people mourning the deaths of Cassandra Subi and Alex Dean.
Last year, the shooting at the Charleston church dominated headlines, due to the racial undertones. Since then, there have been many more racial shootings and many more shootings of people of the same race. In short, America needs to do better.
Hillary Clinton is making her case for her vision for America and, tonight, she has brought the star power. Among those speaking up for her is Angela Bassett, a film legend whose legacy precedes her. She spoke in front of the Democratic Party, touching deep into the Charleston situation and discussed her own trips down there.
